Most Bulgarians celebrate women's day on March 8th. Traditionally women receive on this day flowers from their friends and relatives. That is why don't be surprised if you see an increased number of flower stalls on the streets.
Women are congratulated with "Chestit Praznik" (Happy Holiday in Bulgarian).
