Raina Kabaivanska arrived in Sofia to establish master classes in opera singing in the New Bulgarian University. The prima is already Doctor Honoris Causa of the academic institution. The hearings took place on September 15 and the training will be during the next 10 days. Kabaivanska hopes to discover talented children who will make Bulgaria famous over the world. Scholarship students of the `Raina Kabaivanska` foundation took part in the competition for free. The Bulgarians have to pay BGN 525 to become students of the opera star, and the foreigners- USD 300. Kabaivanska will not perform at the Sofia opera this season. The prima condemned explicitly the terrorist attacks in New York and Washington. `Civilization can fight violence through art too,` she said.
