One of Bulgaria's best popular groups "D 2" triumphed at BG Radio Music Awards, which took place Monday evening at amusement park Sofia Land.
"D 2", led by their front man Dicho, was named group of the year. The song "100 years", which topped the Bulgarian music charts recently, seized the award BG Song, while "D 2 2002" became a winner in the category for best albums.
A tender and moving song "How much I miss you" was enough for "Charizma", one of the most successful formations recently, to land an award in the category for duets.
Rushi Vidinliev and and Maria Ilieva were named BG Male and Female Singer by BG Radio (Sofia - 91.9 MHz), which plays Bulgarian pop and rock music only.
BG Radio and M3 Communications Group, Inc, leading Bulgarian PR company (www.m3bg.com), presented a special BG Music PR award to Svetla Russeva, PR at Stars Records Company.
More than 10,000 BG Radio fans cast their votes in ten out of all sixteen categories at the radio's site (www.bgradio.net), Egoist magazine and 24 hours daily.
Musicians only voted in the category "Inspirer", while producers joined then in casting votes in the BG Composer and Supergroup category.
