`We do not expect a wave of Afghani, Pakistani or refugees from other risk countries to Bulgaria,` Interior Minister Georgi Petkanov said in Vidin. The increasing number of refugees that come to Bulgaria on their way to Europe turns out to be a serious, though, according to Petkanov. `Bulgaria`s borders, border crossings, nationally important facilities and some of the diplomatic missions are under tightened security because of the current circumstances`, he said. Petkanov was on a working visit to Vidin as part of a series of meetings with the leaderships of the Internal regional directorates.
