/Old Monastery Recipe/

Ingredients: 150 g white beans, 2-3 carrots, Ѕ celery, 1 onion, 2 tomaoes, 2 peppers, 1 chili pepper, 5 tablespoons vegetable oil, peppermint and salt to taste

How to cook: Soak the cleaned and washed beans in cold water overnight or for 6-7 hours, throw out the water, wash them again, pour water over them and boil at moderate heat. Add the oil and the finely chopped onion, carrots and celery. Later add the peppers, also finely chopped. Towards the end of the boiling add the peeled and finely chopped tomatoes and the peppermint.
