LUKoil Subsidiary Named Bulgaria's Exporter 2002

LUKoil subsidiary Litasko landed the Exporter of the Year 2002 award of Bulgaria's Economy Ministry and the Trade Promotion Agency. Litasko exports for 2002 towered to USD 410,9 M.

The winner was awarded by Deputy Prime Minister and Economy Minister Nikolay Vassilev.

The eleven companies, nominated for Exporter of the Year award, were among Bulgaria's 100 top exporters for 2001 and 2002.

Sliven-based subsidiary of Italian Miroglio - textile factory Slitex - won the Exports Growth Award. The factory registered a 231,5% increase in exports year-on-year, reaching USD 32,9 M 2002.

Exports to 64 countries were enough to land Soda ash producer Solvay Sodi award in the New Markets category. A year earlier Solvay Sodi exported to no more than 50 countries.
