The Finance Ministry will give interest free loans to the poorest municipalities. The money will be used for unpaid salaries for the state employees, the Finance Minister Milen Velchev announced in the Parliament.
The state-owned enterprises incurred losses amounting to BGN 42.702 M in the second half of this year, after posting a gross profit of BGN 70.425 in the first quarter, statistical data showed. The net sales income dropped by 12.5% in comparison with the first quarter. The general debt of public entities rose with 9.8%.
The damages from 391 economic crimes registered since the beginning of the year in the Veliko Tarnovo region amount to BGN 4,200,507, the regional directorate of the ministry of interior said.
The Privatization Agency changes the methods of privatisation of 79% of Gypsum EAD in the village of Koshava and 78% of Transimpex EAD in Sofia. The two companies will be sold through a public competition. The terms for submitting offers for the two companies are extended until November 16 and November 7, respectively.
The prices of cheese will rise 10% by this year`s end, the Independent Association of Dairy Producers /IADP/ forecasts. The increase is prompted by the higher procurement prices of milk, IADP CEO Mincho Minchev explained.
