Bulgaria: The Minister of Economy Will Comment on the Analysis of the Fuel Markets pixabay.com

Economy Minister Emil Karanikolov will comment on the sectoral analysis of fuel markets prepared by the Commission for Protection of Competition.

The Commission did not find a monopoly on the market. In the sectoral analysis, the regulator only recommends the creation of an electronic platform in the warehouses. According to the analysis, the retail prices of A-95 gasoline and diesel fuel last year were increased for a short period and gradually.

The Commission is of the opinion that the requirement that the fiscal note contain full information on how the final price is formed could affect the competitive environment.
