Emergency care workers in Ruse have given notice of leaving. They want a change in pay and better working conditions, Nova TV reported.
Their notices of exit expire on 8 April. Until then, medical staff and drivers expect someone to hear their requests. They are unhappy that they have not received the promised increase in bonuses.
"If you are interested in who will take the addresses while we are away, the Minister will answer this question," said one of the ambulance drivers.
"No one has explained why in other centers wages are different from ours, why it is heard that there is money, and they do not reach us," one of the nurses said.
If their requests are not heard, after three weeks residents of the Ruse district may be left without Emergency.
Emergency medics urge Dr. Nedka Dikova to remain the director of the center because they believe she defends their interests.
They said they did not trust the winner of the competition, Dr. Marinova.
