Bulgaria: One More Victim from the Retainers of the Sofia Street "Graf Ignatiev" Mediapool.bg

In just a week, a second person suffered from the retainers on the Sofia street "Graf Ignatiev", whose repair continues.

On March 7, around 11 hours an adult man suffered as he stumbled into controversial restrictions imposed at the request of Traffic Police - Sofia. This was reported by an eyewitness of the incident that sent photos to the editorial mail of Mediapool.

Worried citizens helped the elderly man to get up and stop the blood from his face. They have also gathered his scattered belongings.

A vendor from a neighboring store said it was another, probably tenth, case of stumbling into the limiters and injured citizen.

At the beginning of March, a 48-year-old woman also stumbled into the concrete blocks and suffered - a cracked hand, a nose bruise. Ironically, the victim was a tram driver. According to her, stone triangular blocks must be replaced by a restrictive yellow line.

After this incident from Pirogov said that this was another victim of the limiters of Graf Ignatiev Str.

Restraints were set in order to protect pedestrians from the trams, but now it turns out they are not safe. As soon as they were placed, citizens warned that they could cause pedestrian incidents.

Earlier this month, the municipality said that if specialists decide that limiters are not safe or are placed in the wrong places, they will take action.

At the end of January, a social network user posted a photo of a broken ambulance on Graf Ignatiev Street.

From the published photo, there was an Emergency Aid car that had stood on the masonry boards on a hole in the refurbished street.

Wooden boards are placed for safety purposes where the tiles are not arranged or there are holes left.

But it is not clear to citizens that there is a hole at the bottom and that they do not have to pass through the wooden boards.
