In the next European Parliament, Bulgaria will select six representatives from GERB and BSP, two from the MRF and one from the United Patriots, Yes, Bulgaria and Volya. This is the new forecasts presented today by the EP and based on available data from public opinion polls.
These are the second forecasts based on national polls on the composition of the next EP. The data are from the end of February. The EP is expected to submit updated forecasts every two weeks until the end of April and every week in May until the evening of the election. The presentation of the initial election results will start on May 26th. The EP clarifies that the breakdown of seats in the new mandate is based on "reliable sources" surveys.
According to the detailed breakdown of the latest data GERB would receive 35.7 per cent of votes, BSP - 35.1 per cent, MRF - 10.7 per cent, United Patriots - 5.4 per cent, "Yes, Bulgaria" - 2.4 per cent, "Volya "and" Reformation Bloc "- 2.2 per cent, ABC - 1.4 per cent, others - 4.9 per cent. Based on this data, it is estimated that Bulgaria would have eight representatives in the Group of the European People's Party, six in the Socialist and Democrats Group, two in ALDE and one who would not belong to an established political group for now.
