The Executive Director of BSMEPA Dr. Boyko Takov will Participate in the EBRD Business Forum in Varna
The European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD), in partnership with the Ministry of Economy and the Municipality of Varna, organizes an information business forum on "Do you want your business to grow? We have experts and know-how. "During the event, representatives of the international financial institution and the ministry of economy will explain the opportunities for growth and increase the competitiveness of the companies.
The forum will be held at Cherno More Hotel in Varna on March 6, 2019 at 2 pm
The Executive Director of the Executive Agency for Promotion of Small and Medium-Sized Enterprises Dr. Boyko Takov will also take part in it. Representatives of all small and medium-sized companies from Varna and the region are invited to participate. The purpose of the forum is to get acquainted with the opportunities offered by EBRD's Small Business Support Program. Through it, companies can receive expert development and growth support in various areas such as strategy, marketing, financial management, energy efficiency, and more.
"For the past year, the program has supported the implementation of 25 projects, almost waiting for approval. Most of the implemented projects are in Sofia, so we organize information forums in the country so that more companies can learn about the program and take advantage of the opportunities it offers. ", Said Miroslav Stoyanov, Program Manager for Bulgaria.
Entrepreneurs who have successfully completed a project will share their personal experience with the application, approval, and performance process during the forum. The team that runs the EBRD Small Business Support Program will provide practical advice and guidance for successful participation.
Representatives of the Ministry of Economy and the Executive Agency for Promotion of Small and Medium-Sized Enterprises will present the participants with the measures to support small businesses and the business opportunities provided by the Operational Program "Innovation and Competitiveness 2014-2020".
Varna Municipality will present its policy for the promotion of entrepreneurship.
Business representatives from Varna and the region will have the opportunity to tell about the challenges they face in their everyday life and to seek dialogue with the institutions on which the resolution of their problems depends.
