Bulgaria: Light Earthquake Registered near Petrich

An earthquake measuring 3.1 on the Richter scale was registered in the area of Petrich at 7.10 this morning, Focus News Agency learnt from the National Institute of Geophysics, Geodesy and Geography to the Bulgarian Academy of Sciences. The quake was registered at a depth of 10 km and there is no information that it was felt.
In addition, 6 light earthquakes were registered this morning in the Black Sea, about 30 km from Burgas and 15-20 km from Cape Emine and Sunny Beach. They were between 2.4 and 2.2 in magnitude, at shallow depths of 3 to 6 km. The first was registered at 5.50. Again, there is no information that any was felt.
