Bulgaria: PM Borisov: Economic Performance in Bulgaria Continues to be Stable

Economic results in Bulgaria remain stable. This is part of the conclusions of the regular International Monetary Fund (IMF) mission. This is what Prime Minister Boyko Borisov commented on his Facebook page.

"Economic growth is expected to reach 3.2 percent in 2018, unemployment will fall to nearly 5 percent, and the current account will see a significant surplus. The prospects for 2019 are similar, "said Borisov.

The IMF report also notes the progress made in Co-operation and Verification Reforms, including through the establishment of a single anti-corruption commission and the strengthening of independence between judges and prosecutors, the prime minister said.
