LUNAR Festival 2024: Illuminating Sofia's Nightscape Once Again
Sofia's Lunar Festival of Lights is back, illuminating the city with more than 20 captivating light installations across its most iconic landmarks.
In 1561 schools today, January 29, the school sessions were suspended. This was announced by the press center of the Ministry of Education and Science. From today in flu vacation are the students from 61 schools in Montana district and 32 schools in Vratsa district.
267 schools in Sofia-city are closed, 124 schools in Blagoevgrad region, 105 in Pleven district, 41 schools in Kyustendil region, as well. Students from 194 schools in Plovdiv, from 83 schools in Veliko Tarnovo region are also in vacation. 70 schools in Rousse district, 59 - from Razgrad district, 69 from Dobrich district and 72 f from Kardzhali district, are closed.
There are no lessons in 122 schools in Varna, 122 in Pazardjik, 80 in Haskovo and 11 in Sofia. In Vidin district there will be no classes in 32 schools and two kindergartens on prescription of Regional health inspectorate until January 30, inclusive.
Because of bad weather conditions, there is no school classes in 8 schools in Smolyan region. 7 schools in Lovech school process either. Targovishte district remains in the pre-crisis situation.
