Bulgaria: An Elderly Man Killed a Dog by Throwing it out of the Eighth Floor in Silistra

An elderly man threw a dog from the eight floor of an apartment building in Silistra. The animal has died on the spot.

The man threw the dog out of the common terrace between the floors of the block of flats, bTV announced.

Getting back from work, Galin Gospodinov sees the dog's corpse. Galin himself wanted to take the dog in the summer to raise it with his two.

The dog was quiet, lived around the block, its improvised doghouse behind the building is still standing.

The man who threw it through the balcony - 69-year-old retired Ivan Nakov, explains that he did it because the dog was going to the door of his apartment. He says he regrets what he has done.

His wife does not justify it, but she thinks someone has deliberately led the dog on the floor to annoy them.

Pre-trial proceedings have been initiated in this case.
