Weather In Bulgaria On April 25: Cold Front Brings Rain and Thunderstorms

New precipitation beginning from southwest this morning will spread into the eastern regions by the evening. Snowfall is forecast in most of North Bulgaria and in the mountainous regions, rain in South Bulgaria and on the seacoast. The atmospheric pressure, much lower than the average for January, will further decrease. Light to moderate wind from east-northeast. Day temperatures will remain in a wide range: from close to zero in Northwest Bulgaria to about 10°C in the southeastern regions, meteorologist Krasimir Stoev, National Institute of Meteorology and Hydrology, told Focus News Agency.
A code orange warning for heavy rain and snowfall is in place for the regions of Blagoevgrad, Pazardzhik, Plovdiv, Smolyan, Kardzhali and Haskovo, code yellow in 18 other regions.
