Plovdiv International Fair and Minproekt Company have been taken off the list of companies whose shares are traded with compensatory instruments and investment vouchers, Bulgaria's Economy Ministry announced.
The move comes under changes to the Privatization and Post-Privatization Control Act, adopted at second reading by the parliamentary economic committee.
Currently Plodvid Fair is on the list of companies, which can be privatised only with a strategy, approved by the Parliament.
The strategy will be worked out by a working group, to include representatives of the Economy Ministry, Finance Ministry, Privatization Agency and the Executive Director of Plovdiv International Fair.
A day earlier MPs of the ruling Simeon II National Movement said that the strategy for development must precede all other changes of ownership.
The statement was prompted by the company's inclusion in the list of companies, whose shares will be privatized with compensatory instruments.
