NUCLEAR PLANT ON FULL ALERT

Nuclear Power Plant in Kozloduy is on full alert, Yordan Yordanov the CEO of the plant said. It is not necessary to introduce additional or emergency security measures at the Kozlodoui Nuclear plant at the moment, the plant management announced, adding that the emergency response plan can be activated at the moment in case that this becomes necessary. The plant is operating as usual as four of its six units are working with a combined capacity of 1,900MW. Units 4 and 5 are switched off for planned annual repairs.
