Two seminars, organized by the IT leader Compaq Computer, will take place on September 17 and September 18. The seminars are designed for its partners and customers. The topic of the first seminar is `Update on the Latest Product Developments`. The second day seminar is called `Innovative Storage and Server Solutions for Your Enterprise.` The two Compaq events will take place in Sheraton Sofia Hotel.

A block deal of 1.727 million Lukoil-Nefotchim shares was made on the Bulgarian Stock Exchange-Sofia. The package amounts to 12.75% of the capital of the Burgas-based refinery and, according to brokers, is the package of preferential shares bought by the staff some time ago.

Grand hotel Varna raised its capital by BGN 4.2 million to BGN 6.53` million. A decision to issue 42,200,000 new shares with a value of BGN 0.10 each was made by the general shareholders` meeting on June 29. The shareholders in the company have one month to subscribe the new shares.

Chief Prosecutor Nikola Filchev issued an order to check the legality of all major privatization deals, in cooperation with the corresponding competent state bodies, the prosecution announced. Deprivatisation through court is what the magistrates propose as the civilized method of dealing with corrupted privatization deals.
