Bulgaria: The Bulgarian Police will Increase Checks on Buses and TIR Trucks

Increase of checks on trucks and buses will be carried out in Bulgaria during the week of 23-29 July, according to DG National Police. The operation takes place in all Member States of the European Traffic Police Service - TISPOL. Representatives of the "Automobile Administration" Executive Agency at the Ministry of Transport, Information Technology and Communications are also involved in the action, during which inspections under the "wide control" method control a valid obligatory Civil Aviation Insurance responsibility ", as well as the existence of a vignette sticker for the use of Republican roads. The main reasons for the occurrences involving trucks and buses are drivers' failure to comply with rest time, speeding, alcohol and drugs, unsafe cargo transport and vehicle congestion.
