A child of 3 years of age has been seriously burned after being deliberately attacked with acid, AFP reported, citing the British police.
The attack took place in a department store in Worcester, West England.
The attack on the child is purposeful, AFP reports, citing investigators. The boy is placed in a hospital with wounds on his face and hands.
The British police have already detained a suspect for the attack. The 39-year-old striker who lived in the neighboring town of Wolverhampton, he attacked the little boy with the acid, then escaped. The police also circulated photos of three more people who wanted to be interrogated.
