Changes were made in the ceremony for the presenting of the credentials to the newly appointed ambassadors because of the tragic terrorist attack in the United States. The welcoming in front of the President’s administration was without guards and without solemn performance of the hymns of the countries. President Stoyanov received the credentials of the new ambassadors to Vietnam – at 10.30, Egypt – at 11.10 and France – at 11.45. The Bulgarian President cancelled his meeting with friends and sympathizers at the Plovdiv Fair.
