NO BULGARIANS REPORTED KILLED OR INJURED IN US

No Bulgarian citizens were reported killed or injured, ambassador to UN Stefan Tafrov said to privately-owned bTV. As a matter of fact in the World Trade Center buildings are many Bulgarians and it is possible that there will be some, we’ll report immediately if something news appears, ambassador added. The Bulgarian ambassador in Washington Phillip Dimitrov also said there are no Bulgarian victims reported. Dimitrov also said embassy is ready to fulfill any US authorities order including evacuation of the embassy staff outside the US. All Bulgarian missions to US and the Bulgarian foreign ministtry are round-o-clock on duty and we do hope information that there are no vistims among Bulgarian citizens in the US will remain the same, Elena Poptodorova, foregn ministry spokeswoman said.
