Bulgaria: An Earthquake of Magnitude 4.8 was Registered 300 km from Athens

An earthquake measuring 4.8 on the Richter scale was registered at 11:52 local time today, nearly 300 km from Athens.

According to the European Seismological Center it was at a depth of 10 km and is 54 km south of Sparta in the Mediterranean Sea.

There is no evidence of injured people for now.
