Google takes the first place in this year's BrandZ ranking of the most expensive brands in the world. Its value in dollars amounted to over $302 billion last year and it increased by 23%.
The second place in the ranking is taken by another technology giant - Apple, whose estimate is just over $ 300 billion. The third place is for the online marketing leader-Amazon with $ 207 billion.
For the first time in the top 10 most expensive businesses are two Chinese companies- Tencent (the fifth place) and Alibaba (the ninth place).
According to the commercial value of Tencent this telecommunication company amounted to 179 bln. dollars, which is by 65% more than last year. At the same time, the intangible assets of the Asian leader in Alibaba's e-commerce are estimated at 113.4 billion dollars.
