Forks&Corks: Onion and Veal Stew

Ingredients: 1 kg breast of veal, 3 spoonfuls of vegetable oil, 10 g paprika, 30 g flour, 1 kg small onions, 300 g garlic, 2 bay leaves, 1 cup of red wine, salt to taste

How to cook: Dice meat and fry in hot pan. When well browned, remove from pan. In the same fat fry small onions and flour, seasoned with salt and paprika. Add stock or water and simmer. Braise separately garlic, add the meat, wine and spices. Cook in moderate heat. Serve hot.
