BULGARIAN PRIME MINISTER VISITS BELGIUM

Prime Minister Simeon Saxe-Coburg pays a two-day working visit to the Kingdom of Belgium, starting September 12. This will be the first foreign visit of the newly appointed prime minister. The Bulgarian Prime Minister is scheduled to meet his Belgian counterpart Guy Verhofstadt, the President of the Belgian Chamber of Representatives Herman de Croo, and the President of the Senate Armand de Decker. Saxe-Coburg will also meet the President of the European Commission Romano Prodi, EU Enlargement Commissioner Guenter Verheugen, and the commissioners in charge of economic and monetary affairs, of transport and energy, and of culture and the media.
