The European Bank for Reconstruction and Development nominated a Bulgarian project for building an information network on the integration of the minority groups in the public life, healthcare minister Bozhidar Finkov said on return from Dubrovnik.

A new generation of intelligent gamma-ray detectors will be included in the system for radiation monitoring of the Kozloduy nuclear power plant.

A public auction for Businessbank will be held on October 10. The bank`s assets were assessed by Bul Audit. Debts to the state amount to BGN 8.5 million. Bidding will start from BGN 8 million, or 80% of the bank`s valuation. The Agency for Government Claims will also participate in the auction.

The Bulgarian Export Insurance Agency now works with 13 banks, Agency Balkan said, citing Sonya Sofronova, CEO of the agency. The new financial and credit institutions to have signed contracts with the agency are Eurobank and First East International Bank.

The CEO of the Bulgarian Stock Exchange Apostol Apostolov took an unpaid annual leave after becoming Chief of the Privatisation Agency. There is one more executive director, Penyo Hadzhiev who can represent the BSE. `It is high time to use the BSE privatizing potential for large entities, such as DSK Bank,` Prohaski said, quoted by Pari Daily.
