IMF MISSION ARRIVED FOR NEW AGREEMENT NEGOTIATIONS

The IMF mission arrived in Bulgaria for the negotiations on the new agreement with the Bulgarian government. The finance ministry has already prepared the macro framework of the budget that will be discussed with the experts. 4-5% inflation, 5% GDP growth and 1-1.5% budgetary deficit are among the set parameters by the Finance Ministry. Jerald Schiff, the Chairman of the IMF mission to Bulgaria is expected to arrive on September 14. The IMF representatives refused to disclose further details on the visit of the experts.
