TRANSPORT MINISTER MET OTE AND INTRACOM DIRECTORS

The Bulgarian Minister of Transport and Communications Plamen Petrov met OTE current managing director Nikolaos Manasis at the Thessalonica Fair. The Hellenic Telecommunications Organization OTE is still interested in the privatization of the Bulgarian Telecommunications Company. Concrete projects were not discussed. Manasis promised that he will visit Bulgaria in the near future. Minister Petrov also met Intracom`s President Socrates Kokkalis. He said that he considers the newly established zero profit re-investment tax as positive for Intracom`s projects in Bulgaria. Minister Petrov also participated in the opening of the political season in Athens as part of his Greek visit.
