First Investment Bank received $20 M credit from USAID. The money will be used for loans to Bulgarian firms, working in the spheres of tourism, transport, industry and information technologies. The credits will be issued for period of one to seven years.
Umicore Pirdop Med will raise its capital by offering 11,540,256 ordinary registered book-entry shares with a par value of BGN 1 each and an issue value of BGN 14. Only the current shareholders can buy the new shares, a general shareholders` meeting decided. The collected funds will be used for financing the company`s investment programme. The general meeting voted changes in the board of directors and released from office Alexander Alexandrov and Philippe Rombaut.
The ordinance plant in the town of Lyaskovets, owned by Arkus Stockholding Company has repaid USD 8.8 debts to banks. The credits have not been serviced since 1990.
Fighting corruption, economic crimes and reducing the number of car accident victims are the priorities of the interior ministry, minister Georgi Petkanov said in Yambol.
The debts of the economic agents to the commercial banks increased BGN 45.2 M between August 18 and 24, central bank data show. As of August 24 domestic credit was assessed at BGN 4.989 billion.
