GEORGE MARKOV DEATH INVESTIGATION ON TV ON MONDAY

A new documentary features the murder and searchings for the truth of writer`s Georgi Markov death. The show of `Files `Wanderer` scripted by Hristo Hristov will start on Monday at 8.35 p.m. on TV Channel 1. Up to now only one documentary dedicated to Georgi Markov`s death was made. It was filmed by BBC in 1979.
The present work narrates the very murder of the author of `The Women from Warsaw` and `Reports in Default` on the Waterloo Bridge in London on September 8, 1978. The spectators are to listen to the opinions of people who took part in the investigation. These are operative employees of the State Security, former and present magistrates - reserved Gen. Kosta Bogatsevski, investigator Bogdan Karajotov, reserved Gen. Lilko Yotsov. To them, the fact that the writer`s files amounting to 16 volumes have been destroyed has been the major obstacle the organizers and executors of the murder to be found. Cameraman Ivan Varimezov has captured also conversations with two of the influential politicians from Great Britain who never stopped asking themselves what the truth was. These are Lord Nicholas Bethel, a long-year deputy in the European Parliament, and William Waltgrave. Yordan Yordanov is the director of the documentary.
