CYCLING:FINISH CAUSED RESULTS CANCELLATION

The individual results from the third stage of the 51st international cycling tour of Bulgaria were cancelled because of the chaos at the finish line. The third stage was a 134-km stretch between the cities of
Razgrad and Varna. The streets in Varna on the cycling route were closed to traffic only minutes before the cycling column came. International Cycling Union commissioner Leon Visnevski
announced that the results from the third stage will be invalid
and the standings from the second stage remain. However, the
points earned for climbing and for activity will still count.T he climbing standings are topped by Bulgarian Svetoslav Chanliev from the national team, coming ahead of Serhy Bodachev of the Ukrainian national team and Denis Kischenko of Lada Samara, Russia. The activity standings are topped by Serhy Bodachev followed by Georgi Koev of the Bulgarian national team and Atanas Kostov of BBB Bulgaria.
