Symphonic Piece Dedicated to NATO's Invitation to Bulgaria

The premiere of "Overture With Fanfares", the symphonic piece Bulgarian Culture Minister Abrashev dedicated to NATO's invitation to Bulgaria, took place January 16 in Bulgaria Hall in Sofia. The concert of Sofia Philharmonic Orchestra included also works of Stravinski and Mozart. Prime Minister Simeon Saxe-Coburg, Parliamentary Speaker Ognyan Gerdzhikov, actors attended the concert. Foreign Minister Passy initiated the composition of a symphonic piece dedicated to NATO's invitation, which Bulgaria received last year together with Slovakia, Slovenia, Romania, Latvia, Lithuania and Estonia.
