It so happened that an American, a Russian, a Frenchman and a Bulgarian traveled aboard a huge transatlantic ship. Everything seemed fine but for one little problem - there was only one woman aboard the ship and four of them. The men kept goggling at the woman for five days until finally on the sixth day the Frenchman decided to approach the issue as the one most well informed in relations between men and women. All the men gathered in the messroom and the Frenchman said:

"Gentlemen, we are gathered together here because we are now in the midst of a very complicated situation. There are four of us and only one woman aboard this ship. The best solution must be found and here is my suggestion. Let's court the lady and leave it up to her to decide whom she will spend the rest of this trip with."

"I accept that!" the American said. "As real gentlemen we are obligeed to court the lady and leave it to her to choose one of us."

"Harasho!" said the Russian man. "We should court her if that is the wish of the whole group."

Then they all looked at the Bulgarian and he said:

"Well.... I slept with her for five days but if you want I will start to court her as well."
