Five ministers and 106 MPs did not submit declarations of their property status by the noon September 4 deadline. No legal sanctions are envisaged for them. The names of the officials who have failed to present declarations will be announced in October.

Berlinische Leben pension insurance company made the first transfers of individual insurance batches to other pension funds, the company`s CEO, Angel Iribizov, said. Most of the insured persons have chosen Allianz Bulgaria and ING.

By the end of October the new Veliko Tarnovo TV sets will come on the market, the CEO of Bitova Electronica, Ognyan Kostadinov, said. The new TV sets are developed by China-based Haysons under a Panassonic concept. They will be 14 and 21-inch sets and will cost BGN 240 and BGN 360.

Receipts from privatisation in the health sector amounted to BGN 7.4 million for the last two months of 2000. BGN 4.3 million were cash payments. Six hole entities, five preferential packages and 15 self-contained parts were divested. Yesterday the cabinet approved the fund for covering the costs of privatisation carried out by the ministry of healthcare.
