Slavi's Joke: Crossroads
Society | January 3, 2003, Friday // 00:00
This is a story about the tough life and complicated perceptions of the people whose vocation it is to control how traffic regulations are observed, i.e. traffic policemen. A traffic policeman passed away, ascended to the sky and the angels took him straight to God, because - as you know - everybody wants to stand well with policemen.
God looked at the traffic policeman and said:
"You are at the crossroads, man! Since your job on the earth is very difficult and important, I will give you a chance to choose which way to take. The road on you left leads to Hell and the road on your right leads to Heaven. Which one do you choose?"
After some time the traffic policeman said:
"May stay at the crossroads?"
