Bulgaria Faces 'Genuine Threat of Radicalization' - MEP

There are still people using the inflow of migrants to enter Europe and carry out terror attacks, EPP/GERB MEP Emil Radev has said.
While the EU-wide mechanisms adopted to counter radicalization are being applied across the bloc and "becoming ever more effective", Bulgaria is still exposed to a "genuine" threat, he has told Focus Radio in an interview.
The focal points are mostly Roma ghettos, Radev has added, citing those in Pazardzhik and Asenovgrad in the south of Bulgaria, where a group of self-styled Islamic State supporters was busted in the fall of 2014.
