Bulgaria: Cross-Border Projects with Serbia Launched Photo: BGNES

37 projects at a total value of EUR 16,910,099 will be implemented under the programme for cross border cooperation with Serbia.

Deputy Minister of Regional Development and Public Works Denitsa Nikolova and Assistant Director of the European Integration Centre of Serbia Sanda Šimić  handed the beneficiaries in the programme the contracts during a ceremony in the Ministry of Regional Development and Public Works.

According to outgoing Minister of Regional Development and Public Works, Liliana Pavlova, who also attended the awarding of the contracts, it will be easier to support northwestern Bulgaria via this programme. The programme covers seven areas in Bulgaria: Vidin, Vratsa, Montana, Sofia-district, Sofia -city, Pernik, Kyustendil and seven areas in Serbia: Bor, Zaječar, Nišava, Topolnica, Jablanica and Pčinja.
