Bulgaria: Outgoing PM Borisov Threatens To Sue Tsvetan Vasilev for Slander BGNES

Outgoing PM Boyko Borisov has threatened to sue Tsvetan Vasilev for slander after Vasilev’s interview for BIT TV.

''The right-hand man of Boyko Borisov, the man who was doing everything during his first term in office, the one who was collecting the money - Alexander Staliyski, forced me to repurchase the donated shares of Dunarit Corp for BGN 43M,'' said the majority owner of Corporate Commercial Bank Tsvetan Vasilev inthe interview on Sunday.

In 2010,Tsvetanov transfered 50% of the property of the Russe plant to other companies, owned by people pointed out to him by Staliyski in return for promises that he would receive protection from the state.

 In 2013,Tsvetanov had to buy back the donated shares for BGN 43M. Tsvetan Vasilev showed documents for the transfer of the shares and for their repurchase.
