European Parliament Passes Law to Restrict Cash Payments to €10,000
The European Parliament has voted to impose a €10,000 limit on cash payments within the European Union
Turkish President Recep Erdogan has criticised Europe harshly and insisted on a quick and final position with respect to the membership of Turkey in the EU, reported BGNES.
Europe is obliged to maintain a fair and objective policy instead of the conscienceless claims of its leaders that the process of negotiations between Turkey and the EU must be reviewed, stated Erdogan to the participants of the international business forum in Istanbul.
According to Erdogan, this is hypocrisy and a double standard because, on the one hand, the EU has declared PKK a terrorist organisation, but, on the other hand, it is opening the doors of the European Parliament to the accomplices of the terrorists, which his country cannot accept.
Erdogan underlined that, while the investigation of the coup attempt in Turkey is still ongoing, some of the supporters of the leader of the terrorists Fethullah Gulen have fled to the West, to Europe.
