Election Recount in Bulgaria Sparks Protests: Government and CEC Resignations Demanded

Five sociological agencies will carry out in parallel the counting of the results of the presidential elections at the exits of voting sections (exit poll).
By Thursday, the Central Election Commission (CEC) had registered Alfa Research OOD, Gallup International Balkan EAD, AFIS OOD and Exacta Research Group EOOD. They will have 1,265 interviewers countrywide, according to the spokesperson of CEC Alexander Andreev.
At its meeting on Wednesday, CEC approved the registration of Sova Harris which will have 214 interviewers.
So far, 4 Bulgarian non-governmental organisations which will have observers have been registered.
These are: the association Transparency without Borders, the Institute for Public Environment Development, the Institute for Social Integration and Civil Initiative for Free and Democratic Elections.
