Bulgaria: Bulgarian Food Safety Agency Recalls 8,269 Vinegar Bottles BGNES

The Bulgarian Food Safety Agency (BFSA) has recalled 8,269 bottles of vinegar from the commercial network.

The acidic products are not harmful but the information on the label is misleading customers.

The discovery of the discrepancies is a result of inspections of sites for the production and supply of vinegar and vinegar substitutes, which BFSA carries out during the “pickling season.

A total of 1,259 inspections have been carried out in production enterprises, wholesale warehouses and retail trade sites, including large commercial chains and local shops on the territory of the entire country.
