Ukraine Issues Stark Warning: Third World War if Russia Prevails!
Ukraine's Prime Minister, Denys Shmyhal, issued a stark warning, stating that a third world war would erupt if Russia emerged victorious in the ongoing conflict
UEFA imposed a suspended disqualification and fine of EUR 150 000 on the Russian Football Union.
UEFA's Control, Ethics and Disciplinary Body imposed the sanctions in relation with the violent clashes between Russian and English supporters during the Euro 2016 Group B's encounter between England and Russia played in Marseilles on Saturday.
The fan clashes occurred before and after the match in city centre of Marseilles as well as inside the Stade Velodrome stadium.
UEFA expressed disgust at the clashes and launched disciplinary proceedings against Russia for the following incidents which occurred inside the stadium - crowd disturbances, use of fireworks and racist behaviour.
The suspended disqualification of the Russian national team from Euro 2016 is imposed in relation to the crowd disturbances.
In accordance with Article 20 of UEFA's Disciplinary Regulations, the disqualification is suspended until the end of the tournament.
Such suspension will be lifted if incidents of a similar nature, in this case crowd disturbances, happen inside the stadium during any of Russia's remaining matches at the tournament.
