Two-Room Apartments Lead Bulgaria’s New Housing Construction
Two-room dwellings make up the largest portion of newly built homes in Bulgaria, according to data for the fourth quarter of 2025.

The Patriotic Front (PF) has decided to strip its MP Polina Karastoyanova off all posts held by her in parliamentary committees.
Prior to this decision, Karastoyanova was chairperson of the Culture and Media Committee and member of the Economic Policy and Tourism Committee.
NFSB, one of the parties constituting PF, withdrew its confidence from Karastoyanova six months ago, stating that in her capacity as member of the committees she was practicing lobbying activities.
Karastoyanova will not be excluded and will remain in the parliamentary group of PF as there was no unanimity among the MPs on her exclusion.
