Riviera Beach Hotel Got Two Prestigious Awards

Hotel Riviera Beach in the holiday club Riviera near the Black Sea town of Varna won two more prestigious awards this year. Riviera Beach was named "Hotel of the Year 2002" and was awarded for most efficient investment in tourism. Economy Minister, in charge of tourism Dimitur Hadzhinikolov handed the "Most Efficient Investment" award of the Bulgarian hotel and restaurant owners association to Lyudmila Nenkova, director of the hotel. A day earlier, Riviera Beach received the Hotel of 2002 award. "We are proud that during the first year since the opening of the hotel we received four awards - three national and one international," Nenkova commented. In November, Riviera Beach found its way into the top 100 hotels in the world, which work with leading tour operator Thomas Cook. Riviera Beach was selected in a representative survey, conducted among 50,000 German tourists, accommodated at hotels, which offer Neckerman programmes. Primo Award 2002 was handed at a specialized fair in Frankfurt, Germany, organized by Thomas Cook and Neckerman. In November, Riviera Beach received second award of the Economy Ministry for "Investor of the Year in Tourism." The hotel is the most recently built hotel in the luxurious holiday club Riviera, situated some seventeen kilometres away from the city of Varna and in close proximity with Sunny Beach hotel. For the last ten years the holiday club turned into a symbol of high quality, prestige and luxury among tourism complexes on the Bulgarian Black Sea coast.
