Ukraine Issues Stark Warning: Third World War if Russia Prevails!
Ukraine's Prime Minister, Denys Shmyhal, issued a stark warning, stating that a third world war would erupt if Russia emerged victorious in the ongoing conflict
Bulgarian President Rosen Plevneliev has not made any official steps on behalf of Bulgaria set up a joint army brigade with Ukraine and Romania, his press office has indicated, according to the Bulgarian News Agency (BTA).
Last week Ukraine's President Petro Poroshenko announced the three countries were studying the possibility of taking the step.
His words drew anger from left-wing ABV party, which has a minister in Bulgaria's minority government, with its deputy head Rumen Petkov vowing to submit a freedom of information request to learn more about a recent meeting between the Ukrainian and Bulgarian heads of state.
"Any accession of the country to any organizations or unions requires a decision from the national assembly," the Presidency says, adding any other interpretations are misleading the public.
Following Rumen Petkov's remarks, a number of media publications suggested Plevneliev, who openly sides with Ukraine in its conflict with Russia, had unilaterally incorporated Bulgaria into a military union with Ukraine without having a mandate to do so.
