GERDZHIKOV HAS NOT YET MET THE ACCUSED IN LIBYA

The Bulgarian delegation in Libya could not meet the six accused medics yet since the official national holiday of the country is a non-working day. Parliament Speaker Ognyan Gerdzhikov left for Tripoli on the invitation of the Libya leader Mohmmar Qaddafi to participate in the celebrations for the National Holiday of the country. Deputy Foreign Affairs Minister Ivan Petkov, Member of Parliament Evgenia Zhivkova, and foreign ministry officials participate in the Bulgarian delegation. It is still not known when the delegation will be back to Bulgaria since the date of the meeting with the Bulgarian medics is still not specified. The six Bulgarian medics were accused of deliberately infecting 393 children with HIV-virus.
