Right Wing Want Resignations of Four Ministers in Parliament

The parliamentary group of rightist United Democratic Forces insisted in Parliament Prime Minister Saxe-Coburg to release Economy Minister Nikolay Vassilev, Transport Minister Plamen Petrov, Defense Minister Nikolay Svinarov, Finance Minister Milen Velchev and the head of the Privatization Agency Apostol Apostolov. The opposition approached the prosecution last week for wrongdoings in the privatization of the Bulgarian Telecommunications Company. They said that the above officials broke the law during the privatization procedure of BTC. UDF say in the declaration that the scandal regarding the telco deal could be stopped only after the officials resign. The Bulgarian Telecommunications Company deal was suspended by the Prosecutor's Office on Friday because of the UDF signal for wrongdoings.
